What inspired me to draw this was the unique composition. I really like the hand placement and the neckline, it makes me want to reach out to her.
This drawing took particularly long to complete compared to others because of the multi-layered shading that was needed to create the depth you see. As a result of the extra detail, the blacks really come through in this and it's definitely why I love this piece a lot.
